Mel Penny (and other Mels...)

The last of those remastered episodes is a Quicktime file (which I'm told causes sound synchronisation problems for some people), and all of them are only slightly sharper than the originals, and do have a bit of a blue tinge, so some of you may prefer to have the original RS versions. Here's Part 1 - Parts 2 and 3 to follow:

Patrick, thank you for these! At first I thought these would me with another Mel, sometimes called Barbie Mel, a blonde spankee who may have appeared in other movies by the same producer. If you know who I am talking about, would you have any with her to post?

I certainly do know who you're talking about, and will happily move on to her films in due course.

There were famously three Mels working for RedStripe at the same time, and I could also move on to the films of 'Little Mel' in her turn. But I'm trying to maintain chronological order, and a consistent coverage of the different models (which is why this is a closed thread for the time being) so please wait till I've completed the Mel Penny sequence.

First I'll post the last one I promised from the Another Day sequence:

There are, to the best of my knowledge, just two more videos featuring Mel Penny (after which I'll move on to the other Mels). They've both been posted fairly recently, and they are both with her topping.

First Loyal Employees from 2000, which also features Catherine Corbett and Yvonne (often known as 'Yvonne from Bristol' due to her accent).

Again this is a Quicktime file, and some people apparently have trouble with the sound - it can usually be fixed either by playing it with Quicktime, or by nudging it forwards or backwards a few frames, but in case not here is the original RS release too:

Many thanks. These are all imho epic pieces as are the contemporary Miss Brown, Catherine Corbett videos. It's a pity the quality is so rough, are there any good remasters around? I tried and the results were awful.

In 2001, after the shocking death of Ivor Gold, a film was made dedicated to his memory. According to what I read, Mel Penny had retired by then, but she came out of retirement to take part in it.

It's well-known, and has been posted recently, but, co-starring Elizabeth Simpson and Catherine Corbett, it's a worthy swan-song.

It's called Apron Stings (sometimes mis-corrected to 'Strings' by people who don't understand puns.)
Mel is topping again, but right at the end - for about a minute - she is caned for one last time:

I've posted the best versions I am aware of - mostly remastered from the original shooting tapes and issued by SE in instalments, and edited together by me. In some cases I've posted two versions so that you can take your pick. They were made in pre-digital times, but have mostly been digitally remastered since, but obviously they still reflect their origins.

The last one, Apron Stings, is an exception, and does exist in much improved editions. One is over 4 1/2 Gb and hardly worth it unless you're watching on a giant screen, but this one is just over 1 Gb, and is pretty good. Unfortunately, though, it omits the last minute with the brief punishment of the lady of the house:

I have posted the complete output (afaik) of Mel Penny, but as I said there were two other 'Mel's working for RS and similar studios at the same time. They were known - rather disrespectfully, but it was in different times - as 'Big Mel' (Mel Penny, who was tall), 'Barbie Mel' (who was blonde, and perhaps a bit doll-like), and 'Little Mel' (also known as Zoe.) You will probably recognise them:

I won't attempt to survey their complete careers, as I did with Mel Penny, but they both made some excellent films, so I'll post a few of their best.

First then, Barbie Mel. This is 'Good Girl, Bad Girl' from Strictly English (date uncertain, late 90s). She plays the good girl, and the bad girl is played by Poppy, AKA Steph:

Now for one with 'Little Mel', or Zoe. From RS in 1996, It's Not My Fault, co-starring Sara Benachour as the teacher punished along with her student. As it happens, Barbie Mel also makes an appearance as a schoolgirl-witness in the background:

Barbie Mel's best-known appearance is possibly in the SE Tiffany Jones Trilogy, where she appears in both the first part (Paperback Writer) and the third (Little Red Apples). I was going to post them till I realised that they've both been posted by Curly very recently in his expertly curated collection, so I'll just refer you there.

But there was at least one out-take (from part 3) that didn't make the final cut, which makes a useful addition to her oeuvre, and which her fans will appreciate:

Returning to the other Mel - or Zoe: this - like 'It's Not My Fault' above - has her playing a schoolgirl again, in another plot where her teacher (American this time) is also punished. It isn't the most likely train of events, even by spanking story-line standards, but it has always amused me. The teacher is played by Amanda Lewis - at least according to the Spanking wiki.

One more (possibly the last, if my memory serves me correctly) from RS. Called Take Those Off, Put These On, it features Barbie Mel and a new model called Suzy, who is interviewed at the end.

There is one section that hasn't been remastered, recognisable by the RS logo in the corner instead of the SE one.

As I said, I THINK (i've been wrong before) that may be all the RS or SE vids with a Mel in them, but of course they worked for other studios. So here's one with Little Mel, first issued (I think) by Spanking for Pleasure, and reissued under the Calstar label, and possibly others. This remastered version is the best I've seen:
