Art of Self Spanking was an ebook that was published a number of years ago, but the creators also created a couple of different software programs that essentially acted like a narrator you could set up for such an activity. I can find the PDF for the book free online (using the software requires you to answer a question about the text every so often in order to use it, as an assurance that you paid for the book) but have lost the software. I believe it was just called ART, and then they also had ARTdom which was a bit more bdsm flavored.

Does anyone have downloads for the software? Either version would be acceptable, but of course the newer the better. I lost them awhile ago and have searched high and low for them, and they appear nowhere to be found online. A lot of the other types of similar software like PGen2 are just too clunky and others aren't as involved or fun.

I may have it on an old laptop. But i would highly recommend discipline clinic from sexscripts. Great self spanking software. A bit of a pain to set up, and groovy is awful, but still a fun thing to use.

I don't think I've ever messed with sexscripts, although it sounds familiar. Checking it out now! Thanks for the recommendation.

If you do get around to looking at those old laptops sometime, I'd appreciate it.
 
So, I was able to find the last edition of both the ART as well as ARTdom variants, and also a PDF of the ebook which is needed to verify the the software.

If anyone is interested, I can find a way to upload them.

I would absolutely LOVE to see the book at the least, if not the programs too. I collect that sort of thing. Did you see my post about a spanking story tabletop game I found years ago that someone had preserved?

I haven't looked at in in years, but Sexscripts used to have some fantastic and creative spanking-themed scripts.

I did not see that post. Sounds interesting.

Yeah sexscripts was mentioned earlier in this thread and I have had a lot of fun with a couple of the modules. In some ways it isn't quite as a robust for customization unless you know how to code them yourself. I think that's what I appreciated about what the ART people were doing. Very easy to set up and customize or if you want the computer to decide you can choose that as well. I also find the scale of severity to be more realistic.

I will find the time to upload them. The programs use text to speech, so unless you're just going to mute it you'll want to make sure you have the male or female voice you want picked out in Window's settings. I haven't found a way for it to use the newer "dynamic" voices in Windows 11 (there is a different word they use for these but I can't remember it right now) because they are different file type. So unfortunately we're stuck with the older robot sounding voices, unless someone knows of an easy work around for this sort of thing.

Coding for Sexscripts is actually pretty easy. It was the successor to a popular program called Cybermistress I believe, and a lot of users from that came over to make scripts for Sexscripts when that shut down. I'm not sure what language the code uses, but its quite flexible. I saw people had made all sorts of complicated scripts including full games using it!

I can try to share that story card game if you or anyone else is interested. I found it at random on a site long after it was no longer for sale, but the site owned had bought it and later archived it when it went out of print.

You do not need to download a limewire client to get these files, but they will expire after 7 days. If anyone wants them after that just DM me and I'll email them out or find a different hosting solution. There's not many good choices for free file sharing these days, particularly since I'm only interested in doing it in this case.

When you initially start the programs they will ask for a password. The password is "spanking!" which I included in a txt file for safe keeping. After that, it will ask you for a particular word from a passage of the PDF. This was their way of ensuring that the user paid for the PDF, as the software afterwards was free. Since they aren't selling it anymore I take no issue with sharing it.

Thank you so much! Like you, I feel things like this both should be supported while sold yet should be preserved when they are not.

Will give it a try tonight.

Out of interest, going by filenames, is there an "Art-2" exe missing (one exe is "Art-1" and the other exe is "Art 3-6") or is this all there ever was made?

Again, can't thank you enough for preserving this!

There were different sequential versions for both, with the later versions having more complete features. IIRC 3.6 was the latest the standard program got to. The Art-1 is the ArtDOM version which has more of a BDSM thing going on and also doesn't support playing as female sub, sadly. Although, I feel like there were later versions of ArtDOM because I seem to remember being able to play as a female sub. In any case, I've scoured the internet for months for these and this was the best I could come up with. I honestly don't even remember where I found these. I know I thought I got a good hit on a random google drive link but I think that one turned out to be a dud. It's been a few weeks and there was very little to go on. Google in particular seems to be de-prioritizing searches like these in favor of "authoritative sources" that don't realize I'm looking for what amounts to a freakin porn game.

Would you mind linking the thread with the card game?

Just preserving anything is wonderful, though! 🙂

It's awful what the internet is becoming. Even DuckDockGo searches are censored these days. 🙁

I mentioned this in another thread. It's an old "print and play" card game with a spanking theme. I found it on a spanking website where the owner had bought it and kindly shared it after it went out of print and the original sellers closed up their site.

Yeah DuckDuckGo sold out years ago. I prefer Startpage over them but their results I think are now dependent on one of the mainstream ones, making them virtually useless beyond the privacy aspect.

Even Brave's leaves something to be desired in terms of actually providing useful results.

Sorry for the delay. Sometimes life can be a real pain in the ass. (pun intended) Here's a link for art3. password is spanking! . You'll need to use the pdf of the book to pass the second security challenge.

Has anyone managed to change the voice? I changed my windows voice but the program still uses the old one!
