One mitigating factor is Maxceylan might be a Chinese speaker (judging from one of the messages) and therefore navigating the forum and translating messages may be tricky. Though 'thank you' shouldn't be too tricky!
Well, personally, I think it's harder to express wishes than to say "please" and "thank you." But maybe you can turn that feature off in some translation programs.
