About a month ago there were a series of posts by @Chloe posting re-mastered versions of films by Lupus. Over the years I've worked on some subtitle files for some of the films and wanted to share them. I don't speak Czech natively, so I'm curious if anyone does and can see how accurate these are. It appears that all of these work properly with the remastered films.
These files are in .srt format, which means they depend on time and all versions of the film being the same length to work. If you use vlc, after opening the video you can go to the subtitle menu and load the subtitle file to view them. In handbrake, you can permanently burn the subtitles into the video if you wish.
They are basically text files, if you open them in an editor like notepad, you can see the actual times and captions. If you prefer a different language, you can paste the text into google translate a piece at a time and translate to whichever language you prefer. As long as the times don't get changed they should work just fine. You can paste the translation into either a new file or the same file.
