I wanted to share my favorite Raven Hill movies. I like them because they are "judicial" in theme without being extremely brutal and hardcore (like Lupus, etc.). They aren't beating girls to a bloody mess, but many of these girls are clearly feeling it (though some more than others)!

The shower scene is my favorite part of Border Guard Blisterings, I have to say. Feels real and scary and something different from other spanking videos (great reactions too, IMO). Plus, you don't often see a spankee get outnumbered like that in a video! I also love the F/F elements in that one (she looks great in uniform). I really wish she was the spanker in Belt Spankings at Reform House 9 too, I have to say. I will add that I am biased because I have a big thing for "judicial spanking in a foreign country" as a fantasy (whether M/F, F/F or F/M). I blame the Michael Fay case in Singapore, which happened when I was in highschool, and a girl I liked there told me she wished she could watch or assist with something like that! LOL!

The Reform House ones converted me to a fan of "strapped on the cross" lashings, something that had previously been too "BDSM" for my tastes. These do it just right for me. I also love the spankee's cute white outfits.

Thanks for these. I am also not a fan of those exaggerated beatings. I am of the opinion that not only is valid for the spanking movie production but for life itself: more does not necessarily bring more. Much more important is the context, the setting, the atmosphere mediated.

Yeah, that's why I like these (and, say, the NuWest judicial ones I posted here a while back). Lots of yelling from the girls, red bottoms and good atmosphere, but not blood flying and outright brutality. I like "merciless" in a spanking video, but not to the level of blood and severe marks. I like reluctant spankees and a vibe of fear and distress... but like you say, that can be done without reducing someone to a pulp, and usually is better when it IS done without that, IMO. I'd rather someone sob from a handspanking (as long as it's not cheesy overacting) than stoically take 50 cane strokes.

Even in F/M, where I have much less concern about the spankee not wanting to be there and like even greater severity, bleeding is a big turn-off for me.

I would say the approach of dishing out more severe and harder punishments than the competitors is like a dog barking louder just to be noticed and maybe sell more. Surely and sadly enough there seems to be a market for that like for almost everything out there. With mood pictures e.g. I only like the casting ones, the others fall into the category "bloody mess", let alone Elite Pain which is hardcore BDSM and probably suitable for big time sadists only.

I agree. It's hard to define the line between CP and abuse, and I always thought companies like Lupus, Rig-East and very definitely Mood don't only step over that line, they splash a bucketful of blood over it. Personally, I don't want to see blood. Hell, I turn away from surgery scenes! Yuck.

These videos/studios are also playing righti into the hands of those who want to paint ALL spanking as being "abuse", "degradation" and "torture", or insert buzzword of Congress for today. They're not helping anyone. You tell someone who's not aware that no, spanking isn't about serious injury and they point you to Mood or Lupus - you're on a hiding (sorry) to nothing.
