Archive Project


With the current wave of, to use an inappropriate phrase, anti-porn sentiment sweeping the USA, I worry that many ST users will delete their accounts and go offline. Many, it seems, have already done so. I think, then, that we should do our best to download the videos that are online so that we can maintain an offline/P2P archive of them. I would hate, as I think would we all, for these videos to disappear forever into the ether thanks to self-important protectors of morality.


So now that I've figured out how to do this, I'll be downloading the content of as many users as I can, and initially, if I can, I'll upload them, as there are no studios or legal teams involved here. After the links die, you'll be able to get them in my Soulssek share, see more below. I'll also create a Resiliio key for each.

On the Soulseek, for handiness' sake, I'll add each user under their username AND also in a dedicated Spanking Tube master folder which will contain the individual folders, so you'll be able to get them either way.

As Steven Wilson once pointed out, stars die, and so do Gofile links, though the one much more quickly than the other. So please don't bother asking for reups as I won't be doing that. Once the link is gone, it's - oh, what's the word? Tip of my tongue. Oh yeah: gone.

As I do each I'll update the OP.

Note: You probably already realise this, but as my own tastes run to M/f and F/f, I won't be downloading any other type. If you wish to, by all means do so and pass me the links so I can archive them. But otherwise I'll stick with what I likes.

Further note: as I go through these, anyone who talks about "full videos being available at Spanking Library or Clips4Sale" can fuck right off; no point in even checking the ones they have up on their profile.

If you use the Firefox browser, there are several extensions such as Video Download Helper which will allow you to download the video. You just have to be careful not to download the adverts instead of the main attraction!
 
OKay thanks for that. I actually use Opera. Is there anything similar for that, do you know?

Edit: tried VeeVee, load of old toss. Did nothing. Video Downloader the same.

to download from spankingtube and spankbang. It's free, simple to use but only works one file at a time.
I downloaded this video from spankingtube on Opera as a test and it took just under 2 minutes. Hope it helps.

That's great thanks. It's coming up in Italian I think it is. Mind you, a lot of captchas and stuff are coming up in Italian for me recently. Very weird. So Just drop the URL in to the box, is it?
 
Like many others, when I put the URL in I get a miniature of the video and then click the MP4 thing and it takes me to a page but doesn't seem to download anything. Am I doing something wrong here? A step by step guide would be really helpful if you can spare the time. Thanks.

Edit: I think I have it now. You get the video onscreen then click the three dots and select download and it downloads to your hard disk. That looks to work. Thanks again.

I think I have it now. The others were working, I just didn't realise there was a final step.

Now another question: for those who use ST, how do I know when I'm looking at an actual user's videos as opposed to ones that they've watched, shown as "related"? I can see one here that's F/M, so obvously not one of theirs, but is there a way to eliminate those from my search, ie how do I make sure the ones I'm downloading are genuine ones the user has made themselves? Or is it just pot luck?

Users own videos will be under Videos. Watched videos will be under Recently Watched

See this is what makes life difficult. When files are only numbered and there's no way that I can see to arrange your downloads by "most recently downloaded" so you can access and sort those files. God damn it. I can't go through each video separately: I'm already an old man!

Edit: that is fucking weird! All I did was take all the numbered files - 32 in total - and uploaded them, but somehow it seems to have merged my link with the original one I put up for CLB. Well I guess it means those who missed the original link can get it now, but how that happened is a mystery to me.

In the jdownloader filename box near the bottom of the screen it can be helpful to put something in like *.mp4 if you are trying to scrape a whole page (assuming you want to use jdownloader of course). Cheers, Curl.

Any guidance anyone can give here would be great. Navigating ST is a bit like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna... hold on a minute. Most boxes of chocolates have a card inside or printed outside that tells you what each is, so that quote never made fucking sense. Fuck Forrest Gump. Idiot.

But the fact remains that it's a minefield out there. Some users have no vidoes, some turn out to be F/m etc. So anyone who has details of ones worth downloading do please let me know, as I'm stumbling around like a blind man in the dark, which just goes to prove that most metaphors don't stand up to close examination...
 
Right. I don't know what the hell is going on, but now every time I access Gofile and try to upload a new folder, it keeps ADDING the old files I've already uploaded. Doesn't seem to matter whether I start from scratch or use some link to get there, same thing.

So until this is sorted, I won't be uploading any more folders. Sorry, it's just too frustrating and totally fucking pointless. If anyone can help, your assistance would be welcomed. If anyone else is getting this error, please let me know.
 
If anyone knows a way to bulk download I'm all ears. So I'm told. If you look at the current user, he has 208 videos! Downloading them one at a time is going to take most of next week! I'll do it if I have to, but if I could do, say, a page at a time it would go much faster.
