Maybe I shouldn't bother saying anything, but since you're the biggest "offender" when it comes to this... the entire purpose of the 'like' button is to thank the poster for their contribution. I can certainly understand saying an extra thank you when someone fulfills a personal request, but I just can't help but think it's unnecessary to bump any given thread to add a thank you when the 'like' button is perfectly sufficient to communicate the sentiment.

To be clear, there's no official rule against it, you're welcome to ignore this, but I wanted to state my opinion, nonetheless. 🙂
