Female ejaculation is definitely very real, as I can assure you from personal experience. Of course, what they show in pornography is nearly always peeing, or faked in some other way - the real thing is not nearly as copious. But it definitely happens, even though many women have never experienced it - one woman I knew insisted it was a myth born of male fantasy, and couldn't really happen - until it did.
It doesn't happen every time, even for the minority of women who experience it - though that too may be caused by male incompetence, or lack of patience, and a further result of male ignorance is that more than one woman has told me they've been embarrassed in the past because their male partner had accused them of pissing the bed.
Just to confuse matters, it's certainly not unknown for some women to release some pee at the point of orgasm, but really - it's not hard to tell the difference.
