Thanks. I was going to see if I could find who originally uploaded all the thumbnails on the old forum, as I had a folder of them that I downloaded from there. But it looks to be down at the moment, plus it will probably be a nightmare to find.

Videos before the High-Definition era.
Nopt sure what the problem is here. I simply clicked on the link on the web page here. and the page opened with the file ready to be downloaded. I didn't need to log into Mega.
I used Transfer.it because Gofile was not cooperating yesterday. It seems to be better now, so here are some Gofile links.
But Transfer.it doesn't need you to log in to Mega (maybe that's the problem.) Is anyone else having problems with it? We're sort of trialling it at the moment (in addition to Fileflux) since it seems to keep files up for longer, so if it's not working it would be good to know.
The actual downloading from Transfer.it is fine. The only current downside is the lack of any stillshot or strip preview. If our kind and generous admin were able to arrange this, it would be as good as GoFile (when it is working), but perhaps it is technically difficult or impossible.
The lack of preview thumbnails with Transfer.it is admittedly a drawback, but all that is needed is for the uploader to create their own preview and drag and drop it to Image upload. I normally consider it a basic courtesy to provide thumbnails, but since I was just filling in a couple of gaps for Westpier I neglected to on this occasion. Sorry 'bout that.
Many forums make it a rule that all uploads must be accompanied by thumbnails, so possibly that should be the case here. I'd certainly support it - as I say, it seems to me a basic courtesy. But others may differ. Since a Thumbnail Generator has been thoughtfully provided in the menu above (Xenon spoils us) it shouldn't be a problem for many files, though .wmv, .avi and .rm files are not supported - so perhaps that needs to be addressed first.

Patrick, I hope I am not egregiously less courteous than you but if I am uploading more than say 4 files, I barely have time to finish that (admittedly on top of completing my review of the other new posts on the forum). I do think a rigid rule requiring posters to generate and upload their own thumbnail previews (when automated scripts fail) would result in fewer contributions. I certainly agree they are valuable and I will try and add them when the GoFile autoloader is not working.

Yes, only 1 file does show on this page, but when you click on it it takes you to the GoFile page where all 4 videos are.
