Searching for lost/deleted SpankingTube content (archived videos & thumbnails)

Hey yall!
The other day I was just browsing the internet and curiosity got the best of me. I was looking thru the Wayback Machine and ended up stumbling across archived pages from SpankingTube. I was mostly just curious and wanted to see if any of the old content that used to be on the site was still accessible.
To my surprise, I was actually able to see glimpses of videos that once existed, even though many of them appear to be deleted now.
Since then I've been digging through the archive and experimenting with different methods to see what might still be watchable. From what I've been able to see so far, some archived pages still have references to the original files.
In a few cases I was actually able to recover some files using a shell-based downloader, which tells me that some of the videos may still exist somewhere in the archive even though they don't load normally through the site.
Butttt at the same time, a lot of the videos and thumbnails appear to be missing or only partially archived (especially since its the older Flash-era content…)

What I currently have
Right now I only have glimpses of the missing/deleted content, which is...

• screenshots of some thumbnails
• video titles
• some creator names

This last one is the one I have the least info about. The thumbnail appears in the bottom-left of the screenshot, and I remember the name Sarah being associated with the creator somehow. From what I remember, it looked like it may have been posted by a DD amateur couple who uploaded several videos and then suddenly deleted everything. I haven't been able to find any additional information about them, even in this forum.

What I'm trying to do lol
I'm mainly posting to see if anyone here:
• Has experience extracting videos from Wayback Machine or archived Flash players
• Knows better ways for locating partially archived media files
• Or may have downloaded or archived some of this content years ago

Even small leads or suggestions would help. If anyone knows any of these videos, creators, or thumbnails, I'd really appreciate the input!

With the current wave of, to use an inappropriate phrase, anti-porn sentiment sweeping the USA, I worry that many ST users will delete their accounts and go offline. Many, it seems, have already done so. I think, then, that we should do our best to download the videos that are online so that we can maintain an offline/P2P archive of them. I would hate, as I think would we all, for these videos to disappear forever into the ether thanks to self-important protectors of morality.

Yeah I remember seeing that thread a while ago but I never really considered using Resilio at the time. At this point though my curiosity's been driving me crazy, so I think I'll download it and just check it out for myself. Appreciate you bringing up the thread !

Just so you know, all users on that Spanking Tube Project are not only in Resilio but on I think GoFile (probably dead now), however they are all repeated, as it were, and uploaded to Transfer.it, who seem not to delete files, in this thread, probably about halfway through: I mention when I begin the Spanking Tube collection.

In response to some requests for same, this thread will contain nothing but amateurs. They may be from the actual studio "Amateur Spankings", or not. They may be from Spanking Tube or Onlyfans. Basically, I've popped "amateur" into my search box and whatever comea back I'm going to go through and post here. There's a lot, so I won't be naming or titling anything, but I'll try to use Fileflux as well as Transfer.it so that you can see what's what. Please do NOT request videos: this is going to be the fourth major thread I have on the go, and I don't have time to go looking for specifics...

Yep. I remember when you posted the Transfer.it files. I downloaded most of them. Thanks again for that by the way. Just out of curiosity, are all the Transfer.it files posted in the Spankingtube Amateur Video Thread exactly the same videos from the Spankintube Videos in Resilio? Or were only a portion of the videos in the Resilio put in the Transfer.it files? Just asking because I wanted to see if it would make sense to scan through the resilio for the spankingtube amateur vids that I'm looking for.

No I'm pretty sure they're the same. Basically I went through ST and got all the users I could who had videos I could download. I then posted them (originally on GF) and Resilio'd them. Okay got ya, I understand now. That was real smart of you because I noticed uploaders have been taking down their vids. The only uploader I'm trying to find that I can't seem to identify is a couple who deleted their Spankingtube account around 2019ish.

This is the only trace of the account that I'm trying to find. I remember this exact thumbnail of the vid "homework problems."They were a pretty popular couple which is why I always thought is was mysterious on how they just vanished with none of their content being reuploaded anywhere else.

Yeah I noticed the same thing: with regulations getting fairly puritanical in both the US and UK (despite almost everyone in power having some link to Epstein - do as I say not do as I do etc) it seemed prudent to grab as much as possible and archive it before it all vanished into cyberspace. Took a while, but I'm glad I did it. Wish I'd thought to start earlier though; looks like I missed some good content. Oh well. Can't save 'em all I guess.

Not sure if this helps, but I've kind of pushed the limits of the internet archive over the years. I have a couple of tips that may help.

Sometimes if you can right click on where the video should be in the page and view source, you can see the url of what it is trying to load. I've seen this error come up occasionally when the url of the preserved page is different than the url of where the video came from. If you can get the direct url of the video itself you can sometimes search directly for that and find it. In the case of these pages, it looks like they used the same url for all videos with additional information about which video should be loaded, so it makes harder to find.

The original web crawlers aren't always consistent in which pages they grabbed, sometimes you will find a whole set of things, sometimes just one or two. Once you know the exact url you need you can sometimes search for all similar urls and try to figure out exactly how much is preserved, is it just 5 or 6 things, or 100s. The url page lets you filter, so if you know the ID number say for a video, you can search all of the preserved urls and see if it exists anywhere.

The last thing I will say is that I've run into cases where the archive seems to have a quota. If you do much searching at once, it just eventually stops returning any images. Sometimes it's better to come back the next day and see what turns up. In a similar manner, sometimes it will say something is there but you can keep trying and it just can't find it. Come back later or the next day and try again and it works. If you can get a valid url they say they have, if it doesn't work just set it aside in a different tab and try again another time.

Thanks for the tips. I didn't even think about checking the page source to see if the video link shows up there.
Also, what you said about the archive kind of "stopping" when you use it too much actually happened to me earlier. Some videos were saying they were unavailable earlier in the day, but when I came back later two of them actually worked. That's how I know at least some of these links are still there and can still be accessed.
Because of that, I've been saving a bunch of the URLs so I can go back and check them again later to see if any of them end up working.

Yeah the site is still up. It still has that annoying age verification page, but if you're in a U.S. state that has weak pornography laws, you can usually just click right through it.

Unfortunately it seems like a lot of the good videos are slowly disappearing, and some of the better accounts have been getting deleted as well.

That's actually part of why I've been digging through the Wayback Machine lately lol

What happened to Pornhub was the worst in this regard. There was an outcry during the MeToo movement and while I'm not saying all of it was bad...it led to a lot of amateur content being taken down and it was dumb as fuck.

I remember I had a playlist on Pornhub and it was basically like 90% gone lol. Amateur content on Pornhub nowadays is pretty terrible

I'll gladly do this because I was able to find some videos. Now is uploading videos with transfer.it the same process as using gofile?
