Well, maybe that's a bit extreme - but I do remember someone on the old Board who apparently tried showing a Lupus film to his girlfriend, (because it turned him on, so would presumably do the same for her), and was puzzled by her negative reaction. (I suppose one can only be grateful that he didn't think 'Well, this should get her in the Mood - because after all, that's the name of the studio!'}

So what WOULD be a good video to start with?

I'm sure people will have their own ideas, but here's one that I can vouch for. It's called 'First Time' and features a novice (probably not a genuine one but who knows?) being shown videos of slowly-increasing severity, and then receiving a sympathetic and fairly gentle introduction, along with a more experienced fellow-spankee to demonstrate the more advanced techniques. Not guaranteed to work, of course, but at least it's unlikely to actually scare anyone away.

Patrick, a truly great question.

I think videos are a great idea and I would suggest hand spanking videos from either Firmhand or - probably the best for this - Punished Brats. These videos are short so the person you are introducing spanking to will not have to sit through anything too long and if they are interested they can watch more. The good things about these videos is they show the lighter side of spanking. They show spanking as something that occurs in playful role playing. The spankings are not very severe. The situations and banter are cute and humorous. It shows it as something that is safe and fun. I'd avoid any father/daughter videos or anything that might even imply anything happening underage. Firmhand and Punish Brats have many scenarios that are purely adult fantasies.

If you are trying to entice a female to get into spanking, I think Punished Brats might be best because most of their stories were written by Pixie, a female submissive who really enjoyed everything about spanking.

On a personal note, I've always found it much easier to introduce a woman to spanking as opposed to finding a woman who is into it. To my surprise, many women are into fantasy and role playing if you do it properly. Encourage them to try it and go slow. The first time is key. Be extra gentle. Remember, for a new-comer, safety is paramount. Give them a safe word. Make sure it is not a word they might say while role-playing. A word like, "stop," would not be a good choice. A word like "table" is a much better choice. Make sure the first experience goes well. If you feel she did not respond well, be patient. Give her time to think about it and you might find she is eager to do it again, and the second time she will be much more relaxed and playful. This is a good sign because if she is responding better the second time, that indicates that she enjoyed the first encounter, thought about it, and she's ready to move forward. Good luck.

You often see more collusion and kindness between the two

You could also try to show drawings witch are often great for imagination and make the brain activer than with a video

For example, later in the process of discovering the pleasures of spanking, the novice will encounter variously intimidating implements - of which none is more intimidating than the cane. Again, we can all think of caning videos that would NOT be reassuring or encouraging, but this one might help to make it seem a little less scary:

Pandora and Chelsea Pfeiffer always seemed like good "first time watch" options, given the playful nature and female-led production (classic Jennifer Brooks videos would be the same, IMO). Especially ones where it's clear the participants are having fun, laughing, etc.

Eve Howard at Shadow Lane is - like the other suggestions of Pandora Blake, Chelsea Pfeiffer and Amber Pixie Wells at Punished Brats - another example of a female-led company, which may well be more acceptable to a novice (though there are male novices too, of course.)

🤣 🤣 🤣 great idea to start with these movies! I wouldn't even end with them because I am not even showing them to myself anymore. All those morons who thought to be more clever than any other producer by simply beating a girls ass to a bloody mess, instead of creating an atmosphere, the brutality hidden in a mainstream-like movie format, which had - besides other purposes - the intention to get a cast that otherwise wouldn't have appeared.
